THE ROLE

As a Sales Engineer, you play a pivotal role in our partners’ mission. You will lead the search and adaptation of Renewable Energy Application Solutions for our partners’ clients, driving continuous business growth. This position entails frequent travel to customer sites, installation locations, and meetings, underscoring the dynamic nature of our partners’ work and the importance of direct engagement with our partners’ clients.

Within your role, some of your responsibilities would be:

Market Research and Analysis:

  1. Conduct comprehensive research of overseas markets to identify trends, opportunities, and competition dynamics.
  2. Utilize market insights to develop effective sales strategies.

Sales Operations:

  1. Drive sales of photovoltaic products in overseas markets, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements, securing favorable terms.

Business Development:

  1. Participate in overseas exhibitions and trade shows to showcase products and generate leads.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategically targeting key accounts.

Technical Support:

  1. Provide technical expertise and support to customers, assisting with system design and implementation.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients.

Documentation and Reporting:

  1. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market developments.
  2. Generate regular reports to communicate sales performance and market trends to management.

 

THE IDEAL PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluent in English and in Spanish or Italian both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience and track record in technical sales or sales engineering roles, preferably within the photovoltaic industry.
  • Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, components, and applications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications used in sales and customer relationship management.
